Here is my first movie recommendation for you! I know, the Oscars were just a few days ago so the last thing anybody needs to hear about is another movie recommendation. Well, this isn’t really a movie, but a series that is really fun, especially for those who have spent some time in Africa.
Several years ago the women in my family (wife and daughters, to keep the record straight) were all abuzz about the books that were coming out called The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. They sorely tempted me to read the books; but I never got around to it. Robyn saw that they came out as an HBO series, so we ordered (rented) a couple of the DVDs. They are a blast, and I highly recommend them — at least the first episodes that we saw.
